Tajima Australia (TA) warrant the new machine to be free of faulty material and workmanship for a period of two years, which commences upon the date of installation.
Upon installation TA will check and make any adjustments or corrections necessary to your new Tajima Embroidery Machine. At this point the machine is deemed to be in optimal condition to perform as it has been designed.
At this time TA will ensure that the operator understands the operation and day to day maintenance & lubrication necessary to ensure smooth trouble free operation.
This warranty applies only to Australian East Coast Capital City, Metropolitan Area sites only and includes all parts, labour and travel charges except as detailed below.
If Warranty repair of a machine that is located outside the Australian East Coast Capital City, Metropolitan Area is required then some travel, accommodation and sustenance charges may apply.
All warranty work must be carried out during normal workday hours. Any warranty work carried out on a weekend, public holiday or otherwise outside normal hours becomes chargeable at full rate.
This warranty does not cover damage or breakage caused by or arising out of:
- Operator error and / or failure to carry out maintenance as instructed.
- Malicious damaged, deliberate misuse or abuse
- fire, subterranean fire, smoke, soot, extinguishing of a fire or subsequent demolition.
- direct lightening
- flood, inundation, earthquake, tsunami, tidal wave, landslide, avalanche, storm, tempest, hurricane, typhoon, tornado, cyclone, volcanic eruption or any other natural hazard.
- Hail or rain
- Collapse of building or subsidence
- Aircraft or other aerial devices or articles dropped therefrom
- Impact of landborne vehicle or watercraft
- Chemical explosion
- Blasting work
- Molten material
- Theft, burglary or robbery or attempts thereat
- Water discharged or leaking from any pipe, water system or vessel
This warranty does not cover damage or breakage which is specifically:
- Wear and tear, corrosion, erosion, cavitation, oxidation, gradual deterioration due to atmospheric conditions or otherwise.
This warranty does not cover damage or breakage to:
- Exchangeable tools such as (but not limited to) cutting tools, knives, needles, crushing tools, pressing and punching tools, drills, blades and edges.
- Moulding, shaping, forming dies, frames, mould patterns and templates.
- Replacement parts such as (but not limited to) fuels, oils, bulbs, tubes, filters, seals, belts, felts, tracks, chains, conveyer belts, wheels, heating elements, electrical contacts and any other part or parts which require periodic or frequent replacement.
- Overloads, fuses, shear-pins, rupture plates or similar protection devices.
This warranty does not cover damage or breakage that:
- Only has a visual or cosmetic effect and which does not increase the risk for material damage nor does it decrease the output of the machine.
This warranty does not include:
- Consequential loss, damage or liability of any nature whatsoever

Also available is Tajima Australias extended Warranty:-
- Extended Warranty (this can be extended up to a period of 7 years subject to biannual inspection and service) which covers ALL parts, including mechanical and electronic components, belting and labour costs (excluding travel time). Please note that this Warranty is subject to machine having complete Tajima Australia Preventative Maintenance Service carried out by Tajima Australia technician every six months (chargeable). Warranty does NOT include normal wear & tear or failure and / or breakages caused by operator error. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
